Class Description:
Ethical M/s & D/s relationships Part 1: Harm
This is part of a series of talks covering the theme of ethical Master/slave and Dom/sub relationships. One cannot even begin to talk about ethics or even forming a M/s relationship without understanding the concept of harm. Knowing this concept prepares you for the challenges and responsibilities inherent on both sides of the slash in avoiding harm. Harm is the hard limit in an ethical relationship. This will be a combination of talk, discussion and activity.
1: why is harm important
2. Harm versus Limits
3. Harm and consent
4: Examples of harm (Activity)
5. What does harm look like? Or rather how to recognize it? How to know when you are risking it? (Discussion)
6. Communicating harm to the other side of the slash. (Activity)
7. Conclusions about harm (DIscussion)

Presenter Bio:
slave jonathan is the holder of International slave 2013 and the Northwest slave 2012 titles. In those capacities he has travelled the country and the world giving workshops, coaching and mentoring on the M/s lifestyle. Among topics he is particularly passionate about are: sustainable/consensual M/s relationships, bdsm and spirituality, and M/s and bdsm in the Arts. He also has many years experience as political activist. slave jonathan also completed the San Francisco Sex Information hotline training. Breaking with his tradition of never joining a group that would have him as a member, he is a member of San Francisco MAsT, The 15, and a regular at the SFDsDG. In 2016, slave jonathan’s master, Master Morris passed away. The devastation that followed gave jonathan another mission: to teach workshops helping M/s and D/s couples prepare for the end.
