The San Francisco Munch

Come join us for lunch at the Thirsty Bear Restaurant, located at 661 Howard Street in San Francisco, for a friendly, high energy, low pressure get-together!

This is a great place to meetup with your old friends or make some new ones, whether you are new to the community or a veteran. It's a very fun and welcoming environment. You do not need to be a member of SoJ to attend; SoJ is always open to everyone who is interested. There is a $5.00 per person entry, which covers the soft drinks, coffee, tea, iced tea, dedicated servers, and the room. You can also order additional food or drinks for yourself (cash is preferred). We are in the private room upstairs. Just head up the stairs to the left of the host station at the front of the restaurant, or up the back stairs and go past the restrooms to the front of the upstairs area (you can ask the greeter at the restaurant as well if you are lost). There is also an elevator at the back of the restaurant.

Society of Janus is and has always been an organization made up of the community and in service to the community. We are stronger for our diversity, including adults of all genders, orientations, colors, ethnicities, roles, and experience levels. We welcome all who have a genuine interest in kink and who respect each other's rights to self-expression, self-exploration, and authenticity.

Your receipt can be used for discounted entry to any SF Citadel sponsored open play party for not one, not 2, but 3 months. So if you can't get there this month, you have 2 more months to use it.

The Thirsty Bear is located 2 1/2 blocks from the BART Station at Montgomery and Market. From Montgomery BART head 2 blocks south on New Montgomery and right on Howard Street. The Thirsty Bear is in the middle of the block.

The Moscone Center Garage is on the same block, enter on 3rd between Howard and Folsom. And there is usually metered street parking as well.

To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, we have a set of consent guidelines for all of our events.
