Class Description:
This presentation will explore the critical role that transparency (primarily on the part of the person on the right side of the slash - submissive, slave, etc.) plays in authority exchange relationships: where the obligation arise from, the purpose it serves, what it “is”. We will talk about what to be transparent about, how, and when. The presentation will close with a discussion of the many benefits from being transparent, especially to the submissive. There will be lots of time for people to share their own experiences and challenges.

Presenter Bio:
slave lyle is the owned property of Master Richard Sprott - having been permanently collared to Him in October, 2014, after 10 months of formal training.

slave lyle is a retired attorney, who practiced law in the health care field for about 35 years. he is married to his partner, Jack, and they have been together for over 35 years; while they engaged in SM together, there is no D/s component to their relationship. lyle didn't begin to explore BDSM until the fall of 2010. The start of the journey is an interesting one, that involved dancing a tango with a man in full leather, whips and all. lyle will be happy to tell you the story.

After journeying in kink for a couple of years, lyle became intrigued with the concept of power exchange, initially within the context of an SM scene, and then more broadly. his exploration included reading a LOT, and talking to as many people as possible. lyle also participated in a Butchmanns Experience weekend to personally experience M/s dynamics and came away from that pretty confident that being a slave was NOT his calling. But, his continuing journey led slave lyle to his current Master, who had the wisdom to let lyle explore his submissive side. That quickly led lyle to a realization that being slave is part of his identity and doing so in service to a Master would make his life more complete.

slave lyle has found being slave to Master Richard to be an enriching and empowering experience. And he continues to grow as slave and deepen the M/s dynamic with his Master. slave lyle has presented workshops separately and with his Master at many locations: including Foundations, Northwest Leather Celebration, QLAS and South Plains Leatherfest.

slave lyle is fond of saying that being slave is actually simple – NOT EASY, but simple.
