Intermediate Poly Workshop - Relationship Anarchy

A workshop for those who are curious about relationship anarchy or are already living it as a significant part of their lifestyle. We'll dive into questions about whether or not RA is a relationship style in and of itself or a foundation to build other relationship styles on top of. Can labels and relationship anarchy coexist? What kinds of categories do you put people into, if any? Is sex an activity that's inherently more meaningful than any other social activity you can engage in? How do you negotiate all of this with other people?

Intermediate Poly Workshop is a series of monthly workshops where we'll tackle more advanced poly topics as a group. The idea of a topic being more advanced in poly simply stems from the fact that these topics usually arise after someone's been doing poly for a while. These groups are open to absolutely anyone of any level who wants to attend. We just won't be devoting time to covering the usual early poly subjects like jealousy or opening up an existing relationship. The only requirement to attending is your curiosity and openness to discussion.

Your workshop leader is Avi Love, a poly nonbinary queer folk who has acquired more labels over the years than you can shake a rainbow glitter stick at. Avi has been practicing poly for about 9 years, though feels like they've only gotten the hang of it recently, and is excited to share experiences and compare notes on how we can all create more fulfilling relational structures for ourselves. Since Avi is a nonbinary queer person with extensive involvement in the kink scene, we're excited to make this a safe space for discussing all varieties of genders, sexualities, and kink identities, and many of the monthly group topics will center around these areas.
