How Do You Find a Kinky Play Partner?

It's probably the most common question in BDSM. Whether you're just starting out—or you're starting over—finding a safe, sane, and eager partner for fun, kinky play often feels like hard work. This is especially problematic during the pandemic. With almost 60 years of combined experience in the scene, our panel of BDSM sex-ed experts can help!

Join us as Q Wilson, Mx Bliss, and Danarama share their insights and secrets. Discover how to utilize online resources, friends, and (eventually) public gatherings for finding folks with whom to practice new skills, negotiate scenes, and build connections. Learn how to be approachable and how to approach (both online and IRL).

Hear advice on how to help get others to see you as a keeper, and to keep from getting labeled as a creeper. Get tips and knowledge bombs helpful for folks of all ages, backgrounds, orientations, and genders.

More areas of discussion will include:

- Online Dating / Online Play

- Vetting and informed consent in the age of COVID

- RAVE (risk aware virus exposure)

- Making D/s work across the miles

- Taking It From Online to Real-Time

- 10 Key Dos and Don'ts of Kinky Dating

- 4 Success Tips for new Doms and subs

- 7 Resources for further learning

- 4 Kinky Dating Apps

Come with your questions and ask our panelists anything about their advice, successes and failures in making kinky connections.

Our panelists are:

Q Wilson:

Queer, gender-nonconforming and non-monogamous, Q is a certified sex educator and trainer, and a social justice activist for 20 years. His specialties include building sexual confidence, consent, boundary-setting, pleasure, online dating, and communication.

Mx Bliss:

Mx Bliss (she/they) is a joyful sadomasochist, sensation empath, and consent enthusiast. She volunteers for a Portland based kink consent and harm reduction collective, CARE PDX. Outside of BDSM, she is a D&I activist, business strategist, and negotiator. Both inside and outside of kink, she hosts events and teaches classes on consent, negotiation, innovation, and diversity. During COVID-19, she has been actively encouraging online connections, education, and community.

Over his past 25 years as a lifestyle Dom, performer, ethical porn director, and BDSM/sex educator, Danarama (founding member of Two Knotty Boys) has co-authored two best-selling rope bondage books and produced hundreds of instructional videos.

Jiffy Kink Speed Dating Online Event!

Following the panel, come join us for a meet and greet called Jiffy Kink Speed Dating and meet other attendees (who may be looking to find additional connections, too). Admission is included in your ticket price for the panel but separate registration is required (link for registration and FAQ's to be provided in your ticket confirmation).

Jiffy Kink is a facilitated and low pressure way for kinksters to meet new friends and potential play partners. The mission of Jiffy Kink is simple: multiply joy by helping attendees make new kinky connections. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet fellow attendees 1:1 and answer a few questions in a low stakes, high-engagement online environment.

Because of the nature of the Speed Dating, you will need to agree to some additional behavioral guidelines (privacy, non-harassment, kindness, etc.) and it's best to be on a computer with Google Chrome.
