LeatherWalk 2021

LeatherWalk returns this year as the traditional launch to San Franciscoís Leather Week, proudly produced by the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District.

We will gather at the Polk Street steps of SF City Hall at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2021.

The Walk will visit your favorite SOMA nightclubs, bars, restaurants, and shops, and even walk down the historic Ringold Alley Leather Memoire.

It will culminate in a Leather Pride Fest at Eagle Plaza (Harrison and 12th Street), presented by the SF Eagle, with a beer bust lasting until 6:00 p.m.

LeatherWalk 2021 benefits the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District, a community institution dedicated to keeping our South of Market neighborhood queer and kinky. The money raised supports the Cultural Districtís work, including murals, commemorative sidewalk plaques, promoting our existing businesses, facilitating new ones, activating art and live events both indoors and out, and making long-term plans to buy a building for a Leather Community Center.

You can register now as a fundraisier, or make a donation, at leatherwalk.org.

But of course, the entire community is welcome to join the walk: No one turned away for lack of fundraising!
