Like a gorgeous leather jacket can age beautifully or badly depending on how it's cared for, stretching our bodies is fundamental to staying healthy.

But rarely do we make time to stretch, and too often we don’t know enough about how to do it. Just like the leather clothes, boots, or toys we love, we want our bodies to be available for fun and thrilling adventures on demand. Both our bodies and our leather thrive best and live longest with regular care and attention, not just at Folsom but all year round.

With roots in yoga, pilates, feldenkrais, ballet, calisthenics, and more, this class is my own creation. A relaxing, gentle, and holistic experience, in this class you will discover new stretches and learn new ways to care for your body. Get guidance and support from an expert (me!), expand your physical reach, and have fun too!

Alexandria is a body-positive, queer, leather, poly, flirt femme-nomenon. Pre-pandemic, you could find her kicking dust off hearts on both sides of the bay as Peppermint Furiosa: the Queen of Improv. She was co-producer of Drrrty Queer in San Francisco, and taught weekly at studios and gyms around the Bay Area. She began teaching dance in 1998, and was proud to be the in-house dance teacher at the illustrious Center For Sex and Culture from 2012-2019. Her repertoire includes east coast swing, salsa, bellydance, flexibility, pole dancing, floorwork, go-go dancing, how to dance in high heels, non-verbal communication and body language, club dancing, specialty work with so-called “no-rhythm/two-left-feet” types, and more. Whether teaching couples at home in California, online classes for the Women's Cancer Resource Center, or hundreds of partiers in Japanese nightclubs, her life's purpose is to help everyone come home to their body. Find her on Facebook/Instagram as Click Your Heels Movement. Some of her favorite things include polka-dots, the Pacific Ocean, and Sade.

$15 - $35 in advance through eventbrite.

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

The regular ticket is $25. This is what most people should pay.

The $15 ticket is offered for those for whom the $25 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $25 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $15.

Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $35 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it. :)

So - that's it! Choose the level you can comfortably afford.
