Rediscovering Pleasure After Sexual Trauma Presented by Angie Gunn LCSW

RSVP HERE: www.eventbrite.com/e/rediscovering-pleasure-after-sexual-trauma-tickets-116659340227

How do you get back to pleasure after trauma?

This class will be focused on perspectives of survivors, inclusive of the experience of BIPOC, LGBTQIPA2SS, and sex worker specific survivors.

This is not your regular 101 class, we seek to create a safer container for building community and shared wisdom as we go on a journey towards healing together. We will be digging into the impact of trauma on various areas of life, ways the trauma manifests long term (ie: physical/ social/ relational/ psychological effects) and creating empowerment and healing through ritual, self care, community, and clinical tools.

You are more than your sexual trauma, you deserve access to pleasure on your terms.

About the presenter:

As a licensed therapist in private practice in Portland, OR, and online through Talkspace, I currently serve LGBTQIPA+, kinky, non-monogamous, sexual trauma survivors, and others as an ally, advocate, and resource for connection, change and healing. I also serve as the Sex Therapy Expert for the Talkspace Team of more than 2000 therapists. Trained in sexuality, trauma, attachment and family and community systems, I treat a diverse client base and serve as the chairperson for SPEEC, an intersectional sexuality non-profit. As a queer, kinky, polyamorous slut, Iíve experienced the daily fight to balance personal and professional fulfillment and sexual expression. Iím experienced in training and facilitation as well as mediation, using this variety of skills to reach new audiences.
