ONLINE Power Exchange and Mental Illness

Coming from a psychology background (BA in pyschology, Ph.D. in political psychology) Auntie Vice discusses how power exchange relationships can impact the mental health and well being of those living with mental illnesses. The class covers issues such as loving partners with a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD and panic attacks. Participants explore how various mental health conditions change the way people respond to traditional aspects of power exchange relationships. Additionally the class covers issues such as the problems of trying to turn your partners into your therapist and trauma lodged in the body. Finally, it covers how protocols can help partners with mental illness.
